Why just Seven Wonders?
Considered and accepted as the lucky number the world over, seven also appears significantly in mythology, religion and tradition, especially related to the Mediterranean and the Middle Eastern countries. We know about seven gates of heaven, seven days of the week and the seven seas. In Hindu traditions, a blissful married life is said to last for seven births. Knowing that number seven is propitious, the Greek historians and scholars could not think of anything else. Post your comments.
